Title: Delivering Client-focused Results

Abstract:

Usually, carefully constructed problem statements and research questions can be formulated at initial consultations with clients, but delivering the results of our analyses in a form that is satisfying to the client may become a challenge. Clients have their own base of statistical knowledge, which may provide a foundation for delivering results, but quite often it comes with a certain amount of misunderstanding. The challenge is to expand the client's understanding of statistics and deliver a product that has value to the client and that will be in a form that allows the client to convey the results to the client's stakeholders. If we are successful, we promote our discipline and impact society.
