Description

The statistical practice has changed in recent times due to the fact that we have to deal with large data sets and also due to the availability of statistical software. Data reduction is a major issue in many such situations. The focus of this session is to show how statistical software can be utilized to implement various methods of data reduction to reduce high dimensional data to perform various analyses. Speakers in this session will illustrate the use of different statistical software, e.g., SAS and XL-minor, for this endeavor.
