Abstract:

The primary objective of therapeutic equivalence clinical trials is to show that a new treatment is not inferior to or has the same efficacy as a standard treatment. When the primary endpoint of these trials is time-to-an-event (survival time) and the data may be censored, we present in this talk some results for the comparison of some statistical procedures that have been used for the analysis of the data from these trials.
