Abstract:

Over ten years experience of using SAS software in teaching students of the Master of Public Health program (MPH) form 1990- 2000 will be shared. Along with teaching Biostatistics II (an advanced biostatistics course), a computing course designed with minimum SAS programming languages has been taught to use the SAS software as a computing tool of performing the related statistical analyses. Two credits had been offered for the computing course, and four credits for the advanced biostatistics course. Challenges or issues will be discussed.
