Abstract:

Health data often have an interesting distribution, with a spike at zero but a long right tail. Some analysts recommend a two-part model, perhaps using generalized linear model, and others use least squares, relying on the CLT in these usually large data sets. The best approach (as usual) depends on the question being asked.
