Abstract:

Providing outstanding consulting is a necessary, but not sufficient, component of building a successful consulting business. Often a business fails to prosper--not for the lack of the right consulting services--but due to lack of planning and unanticipating management necessities. Panelists, who have built small consulting firms, will share their experiences and offer advice on critical issues such as: business planning, marketing, proposal/contract development, and other critical management decisions, from insurance requirements to financial management. After the panelists present thoughts on different topics, the audience will have a chance to gain their advice and insights during discussion.
