Allegheny's student mathematics organizations, Dimensions and Pi Mu Epsilon, will celebrate MAW with a number of activities.
Peruse exhibitions of mathematical artwork, posters, career opportunities, short articles, and pictures of department faculty and students in the Campus Center and Carr Hall lobbies.
See the movie "Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land" on Tuesday, April 22 at 8:00 p.m. in Carr 223. Popcorn and soda will be served. Dimensions officers for 97-98 will be elected in a meeting following the movie.
Take a Study Break (pizza and soda!) and compete with your fellow students in a Problem Solving Contest to be held Thursday, April 24 from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. in Carr 222. Tee shirts and other prizes will be awarded.
