This conference focuses on supporting women in statistics and focuses on the challenges women face in our field. Statisticians with 'just a masters' often encounter an additional bias on a daily basis. Statisticians and data scientists have a unique way of thinking regardless of their level of degree. I will discuss strategies for individuals with masters degrees to contribute to projects and companies in a meaningful way and not hesitate to step up to challenges. Additionally, I will discuss how individuals with a PhD can shift their mind set to embrace non-PhD members of their team to significantly contribute to the success of their company and projects.
