Online meeting requests submission for JSM 2018 is now closed. If you would like to schedule a meeting or event during JSM, please email meetings@amstat.org for assistance. Meeting space requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis, however we will do our best to accommodate your preferred meeting date and time.

To make your conference experience more enjoyable, you can unwind and mingle informally during the social events noted below. Meet with old and new friends. These events are included with your registration fee.

JSM First-Time Attendee Orientation and Reception

Join fellow first-timers at this orientation reception and learn how to get involved in JSM. Hear about the benefits of membership and learn about the conference.

ASA Awards Celebration and Editor Appreciation

The Sunday night awards ceremony recognizes honorees of annual ASA awards, section awards, scholarships, and retiring editors.

JSM Student Mixer

The Student Mixer provides an opportunity for students to join their contemporaries for a fun-filled time.

ASA Longtime Member Reception (by invitation only)

This annual reception is held to honor ASA members who have shown dedication to the association for 35 years or more. We expect more than 150 of our most faithful and distinguished members to attend.

JSM Dance Party

A fun highlight of JSM, the dance party is held right after the ASA Presidential Address and Founders & Fellows Recognition. There are snacks, a cash bar, and a DJ!
