Abstract:

Applied Bayesian methods are an increasingly important tools in both industry and academia. At the same time, reproducible research is the idea that data analyses, and more generally, scientific claims, are published with their data and software code so that others may verify the findings and build upon them. In this talk, we illustrate how one can lead lectures and labs for students taking introductory Bayesian statistics in a reproducible way using RStudio, Markdown, and github.
