Abstract:

With the rapid advancing of internet of things and big data infrastructure, large amount of operational data is being captured from industrial assets. To improve operation efficiency and optimize asset maintenance, statistical learning techniques are applied to predict imminent defects and failures. The objective, methodology, application and benefit of predictive analytics in such framework will be discussed.
