Abstract

Big data today provides more information, which brings more opportunities as well as challenges. Motivated by practical business demands and challenges, we apply statistics in business with computer science in both education and research of business analytics. A few recent research projects will be introduced: real time learning algorithm on customer behavior sequence in marketing, music analytics for business potentials, etc.
