Abstract:

We discuss models and fitting methods for networks with covariates ,where community membership or features are of interest.Computationally, developing fast, reliable algorithms for large networks is challenging.Theory ,which has been developed largely for unmarked(covariate free ) networks requires a new look if covariates are present. In particular, except for special structures,(Binkiewicz et al(2015) )spectral analysis appears not to be suitable.
