In evaluating veterinary drugs for approval, safety data are collected from both target animal safety studies and field efficacy clinical trials. Safety data from field trials have the potential to provide substantial safety information for veterinary drug reviewers due to the greater number of experimental units available compared to the traditional target animal safety study. This presentation will focus on the use of multivariate graphical methods to display safety data to elucidate trends, anomalies, at-risk populations, and potential relationships between variables.
