Case Studies of Less-Well Understood Adaptive Designs
View Presentation *Eva Miller, inVentiv Health Clinical Keywords: Adaptive Design, Logistics and Implementation of ADs, AD Case Studies As we learned from the 2012 AD Survey by Morgan, et.al and surveys undertaken by CBER and CDHR, Adaptive Designs have not grown to be as large a proportion of total clinical trials undertaken as advocates would have hoped. The best way to promote the uptake of adaptive designs is through case studies and lessons learned. The DIA ADSWG Best Practice Subteam collected a number of case studies and summarized the challenges and lessons learned from them. In this talk, we will describe these case studies and present some key challenges related to study design or conduct of these trials. We will also make suggestions for improvement based on the lessons learned from these case studies.
