Not Just a Statistician: Experience on How to Communicate with Your Client (303394)

“It is not enough to do your best; you must know what to do, and then do your best.” --W. Edward Deming. Understand and foresee your client’s need is critical when providing high-quality products. However, it is often challenging when communicating with non-statistician on statistical terms and methodology. This poster presentation will demonstrate experience of working with physicians on clinical research. The goals of this presentation are to help the audience: (1) understand your clients’ need, (2) convey the statistics results to non-statistician, and (3) build a good working relationship. Even though this presentation mainly focuses on working with physicians, the framework could be applied to various industries and consulting practice.
