Bayesian Structural Equation Modeling (303303)*M'hamed Hamy Temkit, Mayo ClinicKeywords: Structural Equation Modeling, SEM, Bayesian inference, Mplus, WinBUGS Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), is a statistical inference based method, that generalizes and combines Multivariate models such as, Regression and Factor analysis. The methods allows for greater flexibility to provide models that are able to fit the complexity of the process or the theory that is being investigated. In this presentation we cover briefly the theory behind SEM, Bayesian inference and go over an example using the free software WinBUGS.
