AISC 2016 - International Conference on Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics

Description:
UNC Greensboro will host AISC 2016 during Sept 30 - October 2, 2016. The AISC conference series is organized every even year and is designed to promote interdisciplinary research based on quantitative methods. The conference provides opportunities to young researchers (undergraduate and graduate students, and new PhD's) to interact with other young researchers and senior researchers. Two workshops are being arranged specifically geared towards young researchers. One of the workshops will be on Data Confidentiality where Jerry Reiter (Duke University), Michael Larsen (George Washington University) and Aleksandra Slavkovic (Penn State University) will be the Plenary Speakers. The other workshop will be on Discrete Math where Dewey Taylor (Virginia Commonwealth University) and Jan Rychtar (UNC Greensboro) will be the plenary speakers. Other plenary speakers for the conference include N. Balakrishnan (McMaster University), Peter Bloomfield (N C State University), Jim Chromy (Senior Fellow Emeritus, RTI International), Merlise A. Clyde (Duke University), Frank Coolen (Durham University, UK), Ramesh Gupta (University of Maine), Peter Qian (University of Wisconsin- Madison), Bob Rodriguez (ASA President - 2012, SAS & UNC Chapel Hill), P.
